I’ve always been one for loving light. Best of all, it can be used to help me with world record activities in the dark. And I’ve needed a torch in the dark a few times, especially while living in a suspended cage. So where does some of the best light come from?
Some of my best light, I maintain, comes from PhotonLight. See their website for amazing lights, many of which are marketed as almost indestructible. Now that’s the sort of quality I enjoy, because when in the middle of attempting a world record, I want to know my light will perform.
The one I’m using is a Freedom Micro. It slips neatly into a pocket, and can be held on my key ring without adding much weight. It is water resistant, tough and includes a multi-function which allows one to shine light in different sequences. If I need to, I can holler over to my colleagues or I can shine this phenomenally bright light at them in the dark. I prefer the latter technique of calling my world record-breaking buddies. This is a neat and versatile light source, and it is very reliable too. No good manufacturer is going to make claims like “virtually indestructible” about their products unless they mean it. I think in the case of the Freedom Micro, the claims could go further.
Weighing only a few grams, you can’t complain about a wonderfully tough torch that’ll work and work. If you need a reliable and super tough torch, get along to PhotonLight. Gear up for whatever you’re up to, and I’ll keep my light by my side for my world record-related antics.
Sound good? It does to me.
