Choiceless

If there’s such a word, I want to use it now. I’m in the painstaking position of having to decide on a new video camera. And I know you understand exactly why I need a video camera. Without one, I could never do this or this!

The products I have to choose from each have a different function short of my wish list. That makes it tough to choose. I must be careful that whatever unit I buy, it can tick all the boxes any world record breaker will need it to. These include the ability to record for hours, having long-life batteries on hand, and the capability to zoom. Video cameras which operate using SD cards are even better, as are those that come with spare li-in batteries.

The challenge, which I’m sure others in the game of world record breaking know, is locating a make and model that has ALL these features. To me, it’s an impossibility to find, and trust me, I’ve been hunting. That’s why I feel ‘choiceless’.

One day soon, though, I’ll choose from a range of video cameras I’ve shortlisted. And I’ll jump straight back into the sphere of world record action as soon as I’m set to go. But will the unit I decide on be the perfect video camera? If there are any other world record breakers out there reading this, feel free to comment on your own experiences in finding the ideal video camera for your activities.

As always, from the office of WorldRecordChase.com, you could say here’s another quirky blog. Well, if I were only writing mainstream content, what on earth would there be to read here that’s different. So now you have a slightly deeper insight into what world record breakers worry about in their spare time…
